Our company started in 1985 in Auburn ,Alabama. I was a student and had worked construction to pay my school expenses. As time went on, I began to work as a subcontractor for some of the larger outfits. I gained the confidence of my customers by paying close attention to detail and doing what I said I would do. I spent the next 25 years building my business but I still had a nagging failure....I did not finish my degree. In 2010, I went back to school and completed my degree in Civil Engineering. I wanted to lead my children by example and now they are successful adults. I worked for the next few years as an engineer in the Solar Electric Power Generation field. In 2016, I moved to Pennsylvania where I set up as a deck builder. My team and I build 25-30 decks each year and I don't have any desire to grow larger. I never want to lose focus of providing each customer with my undivided attention to detail. I'm not perfect but I do work towards that as a goal. If you are in need of a new deck or resurface your existing, I encourage you to give me a call. I give detailed estimates that are used as a basis for ordering materials. These estimates make it easy to change styles or brands in the selection process. Your payments are scheduled in the estimate as we reach progress milestones. We primarily use Trex decking and RDI railing. I am a Trex, Wolf, TimberTech, RDI, Barrett and Fiberon certified installer which means I will register your warranty on any of these products. We offer a 1 year workmanship warranty as well. We obtain permits on new decks over 30" inches in height. Permits take about 3 weeks to be issued. We do all of the drawings and legwork for your permit.
